About Me

Hi, I'm Nicola, owner of Wagtails! Here is just a little bit about me.

I have spent my career to date working within the animal care industry. I worked at a horse sanctuary for the majority of my career, and also as an equine groom at the Defence Animal Centre in Melton Mowbray. However, I eventually realised that I really wanted to work with smaller animals, and dogs in particular! So I decided to start Wagtails, my dog walking and pet care business, which I have been running now since 2016.

I have two dogs of my own, a Working Cocker Spaniel & a Collie x Kelpie. I take part in dog agility with them and am really passionate about training.

I am fully insured, police checked and trained in canine first aid. I have also completed a CPD accredited course in canine body language with the Dog Training College.
